Our geese are hatched from a parent flock, and allowed to range freely through the orchards by day. This provides them with ideal conditions - shelter, shade and plenty of grazing. The goslings hatch between April and June and after 2-3 weeks inside are transfered to a 2 acre paddock with access to shelter at night. Their diet consists mainly of grass with a mixed cereal feed containing no GM ingredients or growth promoters. During the autumn, wheat grown on a neighbouring farm is also introduced.This gives the meat a rich flavour and a wonderful yellow skin.

Orchard Farm Geese are dry plucked, finished by hand and hung in a chilled store for up to 10 days. This tenderizes the meat and allows the full flavour of the bird to develop. The geese are wrapped and boxed in insulated packaging to ensure the quality is maintained during transport to your door. Orders will be despatched on Thursday 20th December to arrive on Friday 21st December.

Our geese are free range and so are able to select their own diet, and usually grow to produce the
following weights (including giblets).
